Reporting Fellow
As a reporting fellow at The Texas Tribune, I produced 29 stories – nine of them long-form enterprise pieces – on everything from baby formula shortages to the wrath of misinformation tycoons. I traveled around the state, reporting on politically-motivated international commerce stoppages at the U.S.-Mexico border and from Uvalde, Texas in the wake of state’s worst school shooting. I also worked the metro desk’s weekend night shift where I reported from late-night crime scenes, night court and breaking news. Read More

In my reporting on the city government and reparations, I developed a strong network of community and political stakeholders in Evanston. Through these relationships, I was able to focus my reporting on elevating marginalized voices in the city. Read More
